With a natural knack for leadership, they've steered teams, orchestrated tournaments, and regularly found themselves arranging social outings and events for their families and friends. However, their collective frustration with juggling multiple apps (from WhatsApp to various sports platforms) propelled them to seek a superior solution. This pursuit gave birth to Invitem, an app poised to revolutionise event planning into an effortless experience.
Adrian Wheeler
CEO / Co-founder
Adrian stands as the visionary driving Invitem. An enthusiast in app development, he effortlessly organises sports tournaments, clubs, and recreational trips. Constantly vexed by the need for numerous apps to manage people, clubs, events, and excursions, Adrian envisioned a unified app, streamlining users' activity schedules, seamlessly connecting individuals for each event, and alleviating the organisational load. This vision paved the way for the inception of Invitem.
Brett Candon
COO / Co-founder
Brett brings a wealth of leadership experience from the tech start-up sphere. A critical thinker and enthusiastic investor, he naturally assumes the role of organising sports and social gatherings. He, too, felt the strain of managing multiple events across various chat groups and apps. When Adrian presented the concept of Invitem, Brett recognised its indispensable potential in the world.
Mark Fryer
CMO / Co-founder
Mark is intimately familiar with the demands of orchestrating large-scale events, being the owner of an events company himself. Often amidst the organisational whirlwind of Adrian and Brett’s sporting events, he shared their conviction that the world needed Invitem. Mark's innate creativity and dedication to prioritising the customer experience underscore his mission: to craft a beloved and dependable brand that people will embrace and rely on wholeheartedly.
Dan Bridges
CTO
With nearly three decades in cybersecurity and IT across startups and large organisations, Dan Bridges offers deep technical expertise in secure infrastructure and client/partner enablement. His experience managing a large community sports club provides firsthand insight into the need for simple, effective event planning for participants, parents, and clubs. This drives his commitment to contribute to a platform revolutionising how these groups organise their events, simplifying the process and enhancing engagement.
