  1. Is the app compatible with my device(s)?
  2. Invitem is compatible with iOS & Android phones and tablets and can sync across multiple devices.

  3. What features does Invitem offer?
  4. Invitem is so feature rich with functions like Chat, RSVP, Location, Maps, Task Management, Check List, Image Share, Vote, Weblinks, Social Media links, Events, Calendar Integration, Reminders, Notes, Personal Profile CV and many other collaboration tools.

  5. Can I create a recurring event?
  6. If you have an event that happens regularly (for instance a sports0 team or club) like a weekly training or monthly appointments, you can set it as a recurring event. When creating an event, look for an option labelled ‘Recurrence’ and choose the frequency and duration of the recurring event. This will automatically populate the event in your calendar at the specified intervals.

  7. Is it possible to send reminders to guests who haven't responded?
  8. Yes, there is a feature to send reminder notifications to guests who have not yet responded. You can customise this when and how these reminders are sent out, ensuring you get timely responses.

  9. Can I manage event details and guest information after sending out invitations?
  10. Yes, you can edit event details even after invitations have been sent. You can update information like the event time or location, and these changes will be communicated to your guests. Additionally, you can add or remove guests, make notes about specific guest requirements, and manage other event-specific details.

  11. How do I set up or edit my profile in the app?
  12. After signing up, you can set up or edit your profile by accessing the profile section of the app. From her you can upload a profile picture, filling in basic information like your name and contact details, and add a personal bio. You can also select ‘private’ to hide your info.

  13. Is it possible to link other social media profiles to my Invitem profile?
  14. Absolutely yes, you can add as many social media links and external websites as you require, this is great for promotion of your business or career.

  15. How do I upload and share images in the app?
  16. To upload images, open the event and swipe to the images screen and look for the camera symbol. After selecting this, you can choose images from your device's gallery or take a new photo. The other guests in the event will then be able to download and save any images they wish.

  17. Can I share important website links with others in the event?
  18. Yes, the host can add as many external links as required, so for instance they can add such things as the hotel, restaurant, airport, event facility or anything that will help the guests find or see where they are going.

  19. How do I start a new chat or conversation in the event?
  20. To start a new chat, open the event and you will open in the chat page, users then simply type the same way as you do with all other chat apps or SMS.

  21. How can I ensure my event chat conversations are private and secure?
  22. Invitem has end-to-end encryption, meaning only you and the users you're communicating with can read information that is sent. To ensure privacy it's also wise to keep the app updated and be cautious about clicking on links or downloading files you don’t trust.

  23. Can I customize the app to fit my personal or business needs?
  24. Invitem is extremely flexible, users can customise their events to suit most business and personal requirements.

  25. How does the app support long-term event planning and tracking?
  26. There are options to allow users to create single or multiple events allowing them to add dates and future events continuously giving full flexibility for every event.

  27. Are there any regular updates, and how does the app handle feedback and feature requests?

  29. Can I integrate the app with my contacts or social media for easy invitation sending?
  30. Absolutely, users can connect their device contacts and add guests manually, they can also use a share code and share by email or social media.

  31. Is there a limit to the number of guests I can invite through the app?
  32. There are no limits to the number of guests, which is great for businesses, fan clubs and worldwide events.

  33. When I use the chat, what is the maximum number of participants?
  34. There’s no limit to the amount of guest in an event or chat.

  35. How do I see all my upcoming events?
  36. From the main screen select the Invitem icon, then select the ‘Upcoming events’ option, this will open all your events in chronological order for easy viewing and integration with that event.

  37. How do guests receive and respond to the invitations?
  38. Guests that have Invitem already installed get in-app notifications, for new users’ invitations are sent via email, SMS, WhatsApp’s, social media or a unique code.

  39. Can I send messages to people who do not have the Invitem installed?
  40. No, but you can send them an invite code with a link to the app, and share invitations via email, SMS, WhatsApp or social media for them to join.

  41. Can I track who has opened the invite and who has responded?
  42. The host of the event can view and engage with all the guests at any time in the app.

  43. Is it possible to update or change the event details after sending out invitations?
  44. Yes, the events are very flexible and can be changed, edited, and modified by the host or anyone who is an admin. Guests will get in app notification to let them know of these changes.

  45. Does the app offer any additional features like event reminders or integration with calendar apps?
  46. Yes, guests are sent reminders at a frequency set by the host for upcoming dates. Events can be synced with the user’s device calendar.

  47. Does the app show locations?
  48. Using Google integrated maps, the host provides the event locations which are displayed as maps with directions to the event location.

  49. Does the app support voice and video calls?
  50. Not at this time but we will be adding features such as this at a later date.

  51. How can I customise notifications and mute conversations?
  52. Guests can mute all event chats or just individuals with a simple toggle switch, the only person/people that cannot be muted are the admin team for obvious reasons. Guests can also mute the app via their main settings.

  53. Are there file sharing capabilities, and what types of files can be shared?
  54. There is the ability to share files like photos, videos and documents (PDF files for example).

  55. Is there a way to search for or archive old messages?
  56. Currently there is no archive as such, we have an awesome search feature that returns all matching words to allow users to find events or info quickly.

  57. Can I collaborate with others using this app?
  58. Absolutely this is what Invitem is all about, team collaboration, sharing tasks, organising and synchronising schedules with others all in one place is exactly what it is designed to do effortlessly.

  59. Is it possible to send multimedia messages like photos or videos?
  60. Yes, the chat supports multimedia messaging. You can send photos and videos. There's an attachment icon within the chat interface that you can tap to choose the type of media or file you want to send.

  61. How do I create a poll or vote in the app?
  62. To create a poll, open the event and head to InfoTabs then look for the option to create a new poll or vote. As the host you will be prompted to enter a title for the vote, your question and possible answers or options. Invitem has a unique feature to allow images to be voted on as well as text.

  63. How are the results of the vote viewed?
  64. Results are displayed in real-time within the app, showing the number of votes for each option. Once a guest has voted they can see the overall result but are not able to go back and change their vote.

  65. What privacy settings are available for the event and guest list?
  66. Users can simply hide or change their real name and set all contact details to private if they wish.

  67. How does the app ensure the privacy and security of my data?
  68. Invitem uses strong encryption methods, such as SSL/TLS for data transmission and AES for stored data, to protect your information from unauthorised access. This means that your messages, files, information and personal information are encrypted both when they are sent over the internet and when stored on servers.   69. Is there a free version or trial available, and what are the limitations?
  70. Invitem is free to use all the features without limitations.

  71. Is there a cost to use the app, or are there premium features available for an additional fee?
  72. Invitem is free to use, there will be some premium features added later.

  73. Can Invitem see my events?
  74. Invitem is fully encrypted, we can’t even see what is on the chats, events and info pages.

  75. How does Invitem make money to cover its costs?
  76. Discrete on-screen advertising using Google ads at the bottom of the screens. In the future there will be some paid for pro features, but the current features will continue to be free to use for everyone.

  77. Can I use Invitem on multiple devices simultaneously?
  78. Yes, Invitem syncs instantly across different platforms like smartphones and tablets.
